In the spirit of the season and upcoming festivities of Yule and Christmas, Herb & Fable have released some ingredients and produce.

Mulled Wine

This spicy drink is made in the Saucepan and doesn’t even need stirring!

HnF_mulled_wine requires the following ingredients:
HnF_red_wine: 5
HnF_star_anise: 2
HnF_cinnamon: 1
HnF_orange_slices: 1
HnF_cloves: 4
HnF_lemon_zest: 1
HnF_sugar: 1
It will take 15.0 minutes to make

You first need to slice your Oranges however:

Yule Clove Orange

This is made using the Crafting Table and is, I think, quite charming when completed.

Which requires some more slicing and then drying the slices in the oven:

These tasks all take very little time to complete, except for the drying of the Orange slices, which takes a couple of hours in the oven.

Julula has been very busy lately before and since the Samhain Ritual, so I have plenty to show you.

We have a couple of new plants we can grow and from those some crafting of accessories and produce.

• New plants: Poppies and Marigolds
• New Processor: Knife & Chopping board
• New items & produce: Copper wire, Poppy pin, Poppy hair accessory, Marigold tea and Marigold cleanser (as in one you drink to cleanse your system)

Marigold beds let you grow multiple items, leaves, flowers and roots to create different things, the Poppy bed lets you grow flowers and seed heads.

First the Poppies, you can use the Crafting table to make the hairpiece and the broach pin with some copper wire.

Unlike other plants, when you take the Poppy flowers into your Pouch, the flowers don’t get the red hovertext for composting, they’re too pretty to throw away. They make nice decor instead, like those behind me in the header image.

Note: you get 3 copper wire in a pack and a broach or pin requires 1 each. Grown poppies give you 6 flowers, so you’ll need extra wire to make the most of your Poppy leaves.

Since the Marigold beds let you grow more things, you can do more with them. To make the tea you use the leaves and the flowers in your Teapot, along with some honey.

Making the Cleanser is done by using the new Chopping board & Knife to cut it up, then heat it in the Saucepan with some water.

Note: You get 5 Marigold seeds in a packet, but each product requires 2, so you’ll need 2 packets to make everything described.

Last but not least there’s the Recycling Unit, I’d accumulated an awful lot of “waste” items waiting for this release, when it came to rezzing them out, I realised I actually had more than I thought!
