At the weekend I attended my first virtual Office Christmas Party, hosted by Huckleberry Hax.
Forced Festive Fun season is upon us, and what better way can there be to celebrate than the annual office drunken bash with the very people you can’t wait to get away from over the holidays. That’s right, my friends, it’s time for Huck’s office Christmas party 2025

We’re all familiar with “Santa’s Little helpers”, a group of elves or the like that help Santa get ready for his busy night’s trip around the world delivering presents.
But what about when he gets back, who’s waiting for him? What if it happens to be these ladies? Santa’s Saucy Servants maybe.

You know what it’s like, it’s mid afternoon, you’ve had your Christmas dinner and you just want a nap or at least to stretch out on a comfy couch. You can pick up this one at the Christmas Expo. It has a number of colours and cushion patterns, with matching rugs, plus a couple of tables and paintings.

The Christmas Expo 2025 is now open for your shivery enjoyment. The Expo is an American Cancer Society event whose aim is to bring the Gift of Hope to childre with Cancer, it will run until 7th of December.
I found this sexy skating outfit, but it’s a little chilly in the snow if you’re not whizzing about the shops to keep warm, so I came into one of the many little hot drinks places dotted throughout the Expo to keep warm.

Julula has been very busy lately before and since the Samhain Ritual, so I have plenty to show you.
We have a couple of new plants we can grow and from those some crafting of accessories and produce.
New plants: Poppies and Marigolds
New Processor: Knife & Chopping board
New items & produce: Copper wire, Poppy pin, Poppy hair accessory, Marigold tea and Marigold cleanser (as in one you drink to cleanse your system)
Marigold beds let you grow multiple items, leaves, flowers and roots to create different things, the Poppy bed lets you grow flowers and seed heads.
First the Poppies, you can use the Crafting table to make the hairpiece and the broach pin with some copper wire.
Unlike other plants, when you take the Poppy flowers into your Pouch, the flowers don’t get the red hovertext for composting, they’re too pretty to throw away. They make nice decor instead, like those behind me in the header image.
Note: you get 3 copper wire in a pack and a broach or pin requires 1 each. Grown poppies give you 6 flowers, so you’ll need extra wire to make the most of your Poppy leaves.
Since the Marigold beds let you grow more things, you can do more with them. To make the tea you use the leaves and the flowers in your Teapot, along with some honey.
Making the Cleanser is done by using the new Chopping board & Knife to cut it up, then heat it in the Saucepan with some water.
Note: You get 5 Marigold seeds in a packet, but each product requires 2, so you’ll need 2 packets to make everything described.
Last but not least there’s the Recycling Unit, I’d accumulated an awful lot of “waste” items waiting for this release, when it came to rezzing them out, I realised I actually had more than I thought!
Just in time for All Hallows Eve Jinx has released a Samhain personal Ritual. There is also of course a Herb & Fable version free when you buy the Ritual pack.

There’s a week left of the Enchanted Realms “Ghostly Gala”. If you’re still in the spooky mood leading up to Halloween and still haven’t found that perfect outfit for next weekend, you should go check it out. In the time it took between me buying the Pumpkin Pack and publishing my last blog post that featured it,a couple of extra activities have been added.
Pumpkin Flower Tea
I mentioned in my last post that the pumpkin growing beds also let you grow pumpkin flowers, now you can make those into tea using the rustic teapot.
When you grow pumpkin flowers and take them into your Pouch, you’ll receive three portions: HnF_pumpkin_flower: Ava Bloodrose you received 3 of item: HnF_pumpkin_flower
The recipe for Pumpkin Flower Tea is as follows;

Jack O Lantern
It wouldn’t be Spooky Season without Pumpkin carving, would it? So now you can make your own Herb & Fable Jack O Lantern.
HnF_craft_table: HnF_jack-o-lantern requires the following ingredients: HnF_pumpkin: 1 It will take 30.0 minutes to make
Obviously you need a knife and a table on which to carve your pumpkin. The Crafting Table is free as part of the Lavendell Quest and the Knife comes with the First Wand pack from the store.
In the spirit of the spooky season, Herb & Fable have released a Pumpkin Pie set along with the various ingredients in the store allowing you to make more when you run out.
The pie pack gives you enough ingredients to make three pies, which is a multi-step process.
So what to do with this lot? Let’s check out the recipe cards, you can add them from your inventory and they display on screen.
To make Pumkin Pie you will need:
1 x HnF_pumpkin_pie_mix 1 x HnF_pastry_case 1 x HnF_icing_sugar
First you need to heat your pumpkin in the Saucepan which takes half an hour. Since the pan is copyable, I’ve put three out to heat at once, they’re also Modifiable so I resized them too.
To cook the pumkin you will need:
1 x HnF_pumpkin 3 x water
While the pumpkin is cooking you can start on making the pie mix.
To make Pumkin Pie Mix you will need:
1 x HnF_cooked_pumpkin 1 x HnF_pumpkin_pie_spice 2 x HnF_eggs 1 x HnF_milk 1 x HnF_sugar 1 x HnF_sea_salt 1 x HnF_butter
So before we can make pie mix, it looks like we need to make some pumpkin spice using the mortar & pestle to grind up some of the ingredients.
To make Pumkin Pie Spice you will need:
1 x HnF_ground_ginger 1 x HnF_grated_nutmeg 1 x HnF_cinnamon 1 x HnF_allspice 1 x HnF_black_pepper
After you’ve done all that, you should then have cooked pumpkin and pumpkin spice to use as ingredients for the next steps.
Once you have both your cooked pumpkin and spice, you’ll need to mix them together in your mixing bowl.
When that’s done, you’ll have pumpkin pie mix,that can go in the oven with the pie case as per the pie recipe. When they’re baked you’ll have some pies that look lovely and which will restore yourHHerb & Fable health stats when used.
As with cooking in the real world, a lot of mess has been made of empty containers and leftover produce, so your workspace may look something like the picture below. You can see that the items now have red hovertext over them, meaning you can either recycle the containers or compost the food waste.
But now of course you probably want to make some more? No problem! You can grow your own pumpkins with the Pumpkin Beds and seeds, with the other ingredients also available in the Herb & Fable store.
